Department Learning Objectives:
a) To train tourism operators who can compete internationally and know at least two languages at an outstanding level, b) To continuously examine the innovations related to tourism management, to carry out academic researches, and to train faculty members to carry out these researches, c) To contribute to the sustainable development of tourism activities in the region.
Scientific and Professional Qualifications:
Information (Program Qualifications): Students have the discipline of management, business strategies, research methods, and general tourism knowledge related to tourism management. Skills (Field Qualifications): Students use appropriate methods and techniques to develop creative, critical, and scientific thinking, questioning, research, and problem-solving skills. They have the ability to use the professional technical knowledge (automation, computer programs, information systems) needed in the tourism sector. Career/Employment Opportunities: Graduates can find employment opportunities in private and public sectors covering tourism enterprises and other business administrations. They also find academic career opportunities by turning to postgraduate education.
