Great Success from OMU in Barrier-Free Education: 8 Orange Flags

Ondokuz Mayıs University, which has achieved significant success in creating a barrier-free education and living environment, was awarded eight Orange Flags in the "Access to Space" category of the "Barrier-Free University Awards 2024," bringing the total number of flags awarded to 18.

The ceremony, held in the Senate Hall of the Rectorate, was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma Aydın, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Alper Kesten, Prof. Dr. Çetin Kurnaz, and Prof. Dr. Ayşe Pınar Sümer, Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erhan Burak Pancar, faculty deans, academics, and administrative staff.

Within the scope of the “Barrier-Free University Awards 2024,” OMU; Kurupelit Campus, Rectorate Building, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Medicine Classrooms, Yaşar Doğu Faculty of Sports Sciences, Faculty of Tourism and Bafra Tourism Vocational School Building, Student Affairs Department Building, Library and Documentation Department Building were deemed worthy of the Orange Flag award in the “Access in Space” category.
