Within the scope of the Asia Anew Initiative, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey is organizing a free certified training program for university seniors and graduate students to contribute to raising awareness among younger generations and to the formation of a human resource pool on Asia, in light of the increasing geostrategic importance of the Asian geography.
Based on the evaluation of letters of intent submitted during the application phase, 25 students will be accepted into the program. Some sections of the program will be conducted in English, and students must have a good command of English. Priority will be given to students who are proficient in or have begun learning an Asian language.
As part of the program, participating students will be addressed by Turkish and foreign diplomats, bureaucrats, academics working on Asian studies, and businesspeople operating in Asian countries.
The program is planned to last six weeks and will be held twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday), with two 50-minute lessons (5:00-5:50 PM and 6:00-6:50 PM). Classes will be held online, and attendance is mandatory.
During the program, participating students are expected to present on a theme related to the Re-Asia Initiative.
Students who successfully complete the program will be eligible to receive a certificate.
Application Requirements
- Must be a citizen of the Republic of Turkey
- Must be a fourth-year undergraduate student or a graduate student, regardless of faculty or department, as of the application date
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on the four-point system and a good level of English as of the application date (For students studying at universities using a different grading system, the equivalent GPA on the four-point system will be taken into account)

Application Method
- Applications must be sent to yineasya.sertifika@mfa.gov.tr.
- Candidates must submit all required documents in a single email, with the subject line "Yeniden Asya Certified Training Program Application," by February 22, 2024. Candidates will be notified via email that their application has been received successfully.
- Applications with missing documents or submitted via methods other than email will not be accepted.

- Applications finalized and announced: April 1, 2024
- Course dates: April 16-May 23, 2024 (An online introductory meeting will be held on April 15, 2024)
How Can I Find Out the Application Results?
Applications will be evaluated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and candidates will be notified via email upon completion of the process.
