Applications for the 2025 National Internship Program are now open!
This early career program, run by the Presidential Human Resources Office, aims to enable young talent to benefit from career opportunities provided by public institutions and private sector organizations, based on equal opportunity and merit. The program aims to increase the employability of our youth, promote equal access to career opportunities, and expand various early career opportunities to all departments.
Students applying to the program are evaluated using a transparent, trackable, and innovative methodology, taking into account their academic/vocational, artistic/social, and athletic proficiency scores, their performance throughout their education, their efforts to develop their skills, and their achievements. Employers then send offers based on their scores in these areas, without viewing their ID or university information.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Students under 35 years of age as of January 1, 2025 (born on or after January 1, 1990)
Continuing their education at universities in Turkey, the TRNC, or abroad with a GPA* of at least 2 out of 4 (equivalent in other systems);
• Second-, third-, or fourth-year students in formal education undergraduate programs (medicine, teaching, and dentistry departments are excluded);
• First- or second-year students in formal education associate degree programs; and
• Turkish citizens or Blue Card holders pursuing master's/doctoral studies at universities abroad.
*As GPA requirements have not yet been finalized, this requirement is not required for first-year associate degree students at the time of application.
On the internship date, sophomore and first-year associate degree students are expected to have moved up to the next grade, senior and second-year associate degree students are expected to have not yet graduated, and first-year associate degree students are expected to have a GPA above 2. Otherwise, employers may cancel their internship offers.
HOW TO APPLY?
1- Log in to the National Internship Program through Career Gate via e-Government. (https://kariyerkapisi.cbiko.gov.tr/ulusalstajprogrami)
2- Complete the e-Government Stage. Complete the "e-Government stage" by reviewing and confirming the incoming information.
3- Complete the Application Form. Complete the "Application Form" according to the criteria specified in each question and complete your application.
4- Grab Opportunities. After the application period closes, don't forget to regularly check Career Gate (https://kariyerkapisi.cbiko.gov.tr/ulusalstajprogrami) to review offers from employers and accept the ones you want.
