The National Internship Program (USP) was launched by the Presidency's Human Resources Office to ensure that our young people benefit from internship opportunities offered by public institutions and private sector organizations within the framework of equal opportunities and in accordance with the principles of merit. Students applying to the program are evaluated using a transparent, trackable, and innovative methodology, taking into account their academic performance, skills development efforts, and achievements. These evaluations are based on academic/vocational, artistic/social, and athletic proficiency scores. Employers then send internship offers based on their scores in these areas, without viewing their ID or university information.
WHO CAN APPLY?
• Students currently studying at universities in Turkey, the TRNC, or abroad with a GPA of at least 2 out of 4 (equivalent in other systems); • Second-, third-, or fourth-year students in formal education undergraduate programs (medical schools, teaching, and dentistry departments are not included). • First- or second-year students in formal education associate degree programs. • Turkish citizens or Blue Card holders currently pursuing master's/doctoral studies at universities abroad.
*Since GPA requirements have not yet been finalized, this requirement is not required for first-year associate degree students at the time of application.
*By the internship date, sophomore and first-year undergraduate students must have moved up to the next grade, senior and second-year undergraduate students must not have graduated, and first-year associate degree students must have a GPA above 2. Otherwise, employers may rescind internship offers.
HOW TO APPLY?
1- Login Enter the National Internship Program through Career Gate via e-Government. (https://kariyerkapisi.cbiko.gov.tr/ulusalstajprogrami)
2- Complete the e-Government Phase Complete the "e-Government phase" by reviewing and confirming the information received.
3- Complete the Application Form Complete the "Application Form" according to the criteria specified in each question and complete your application.
4- Grab the Opportunities After the application period closes, don't forget to regularly check Career Gate (https://kariyerkapisi.cbiko.gov.tr/ulusalstajprogrami) to review offers from employers and accept those you wish to apply for.
