Our career event titled "Women's Entrepreneurship in Tourism" was successfully held.
During the event, Vennas Akyol Haznedar, the owner of Venn Boutique Hotel, shared her career journey with our students, candidly describing the opportunities and challenges of being a female entrepreneur in the tourism sector.
Ms. Akyol Haznedar inspired the participants by explaining how she reached her current position, the obstacles she faced, the risks she took, and the experiences she gained throughout the process, using examples. In her speech, she particularly emphasized to young people aiming for a career in tourism that they should be courageous, confident, and not afraid to step outside their comfort zones.
The event shed light on our students' career planning while raising awareness about the importance of women's entrepreneurship in the tourism sector.
