The meeting, where the work done/to be done to transform the Samsun Tourism Master Plan into an action plan was evaluated, was held under the chairmanship of our Governor Mr. Orhan Tavlı and with the participation of our Dean Prof. Dr. Yetkin BULUT.
The Samsun Tourism Master Plan, prepared by the Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, was prepared in line with the strategic goals and objectives set in the Turkey Tourism Master Plan, such as increasing the number of domestic and foreign visitors, increasing the average length of stay, increasing tourism revenue, competitiveness and sustainability, expanding tourism throughout the province and throughout the year, and ensuring digital integration in tourism.
In the plan, which was launched with the presence of our Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mr. Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, 50 policy headings and 14 priority areas related to these were determined within the framework of these basic headings, and 14 projects that constitute the future of tourism in Samsun were put forward in accordance with these.
