As Ondokuz Mayıs University's Addiction Prevention Application and Research Center (OMÜBAM), we continue our activities to raise public awareness in line with our mission to combat addiction. To this end, we are organizing a significant sports event in collaboration with the Samsun Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, Canik Municipality, Yeşilay, and the Samsun Pickleball Association.
The events in question are the "Family Pickleball Championship" and the "Provincial Pickleball Championship," which will be held at the Canik Municipality Hasan Doğan Sports and Education Center on November 29–30, 2025. These championships aim not only to promote sports but also to promote addiction prevention and healthy living awareness through sports. The critical role of physical activity and strong family/social ties in combating addiction constitutes the main theme of the event.
