On March 11, 2025, at 1:00 PM, the Provincial Health Directorate of the Samsun Governorate held an awareness seminar titled "Organ Donation" in our conference hall for Tourism Faculty students. Ms. Seher Karagol Yıldız, Organ and Tissue Transplant Coordinator at Bafra State Hospital, organized the seminar to inform university students about organ donation and to contribute to public awareness of organ donation. The seminar, which drew considerable interest from both academic staff and students, covered topics such as who can be a donor, who constitutes a living or deceased donor, which organs can be obtained from living or deceased donors, and emphasized the importance of organ donation, noting the increasing number of patients waiting for an organ.
