The protocol signed between Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU)'s Faculty of Tourism and the Atakum District Governor's Office aims to foster cooperation and coordination in education and career development.

Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Selim Eren, Prof. Dr. Sevim Alışır, Prof. Dr. Murat Terzi, and Tourism Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Yetkin Bulut were also present at the signing ceremony.

The protocol aims to establish a solid and sustainable foundation for the two institutions' joint efforts, facilitate the sharing of knowledge and experience, expand their relationships, and provide the necessary conditions for their healthy implementation.

The protocol, valid for two years from the date of signature, aims to determine the courses offered by master instructors and, when recruiting interns, to provide support for Atakum tours, with priority given to Tourism Faculty students who meet the required qualifications.

Speaking after the signing ceremony, Rector Prof. Dr. Yavuz Ünal and Atakum District Governor Yıldız expressed their hope that the protocol would be beneficial to both institutions. The ceremony concluded with a commemorative photo.
