On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, during the Spring Conferences program, one of the events jointly organized by the Faculty of Tourism and Bafra Tourism Vocational School, a conference titled "Crypto Assets and Blockchain" was given by Lecturer Yaşar Gültekin. The conference, which saw high participation from faculty and students, covered cryptology, the transformation of digital technologies throughout the historical process leading to Bitcoin, cryptocurrency mining, blockchain, and tokens. The conference concluded with a question-and-answer session. At the conclusion of the conference, a Certificate of Appreciation was presented to Lecturer Yaşar Gültekin by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasin Keleş on behalf of the Faculty of Tourism.
