Students Convey Their Problems to the Dean

The Dean-Student Meeting held on November 4, 2025, provided an opportunity for students to directly convey their concerns about campus life and education to Dean Prof. Dr. Yetkin Bulut.

The meeting's main agenda items included transportation disruptions within the city and districts, as well as the attitudes of some public transportation officials. Dean Bulut stated that he would personally raise this issue with the relevant local government officials.

Students also raised issues with technical infrastructure in classrooms, general hygiene and material shortages, inadequate social spaces, and operational issues with some support services (canteens, cafeterias, etc.). Disruptions in library services were also a topic of discussion.

Dean Prof. Dr. Yetkin Bulut stated that they would be consulting with relevant units and companies to resolve issues related to services such as the library and cafeteria. Bulut stated that they were in contact with the Department of Construction to improve the campus's physical conditions. He added that feedback regarding staff would also be taken into consideration and that work had begun to address students' requests for social activities.
